Bleach, the Blade of Heaven is a fanfic set in the Bleach universe, which happened ages ago before the current storyline, and contains some canon characters. This fanfic have little to do to the current storyline.

Kurei Yuzu, a renegade shinigami who first researched about the process of Hollowification and Shinigamification, was taken in by the authorities and was destined to be locked away inside the Maggot's Nest for all eternity untill he was sentenced to death, or so they thought. The whole of Seireitei was taken by shock when Kurei Yuzu, in the day of his execution was found to be fraud, and had escaped days ago. To this Gotei 13, had planned to hunt Kurei and his followers, the Varia. Meanwhile, Kurei sitting on his throne has got a pretty amount of information, through reliable sources, but Kurei was not just playing with his Arrancars and Vizard hybrids, he seeks to have the power of the three blades. And so the hunt begins!.
