Bleach: Reverse of the Moon (ブリーチ•月の逆, Burīchi: Tsuki no Gyaku) is the first and only special for Bleach: Second Act. It is set for a June 2013 release.

The special is set during the twelve month interval between Second Act and Bleach: Blutmond. In the future, Raian Getsueikirite is a much different man than he is in the present. A man twisted by a dark event in his past, he has sought to bring an end to the world he lives in, killing what friends he had, and hunting down those who survived. Hoping to stop his father's evil rampage, Hake Getsueikirite finds a way to travel back in time and stop his father's descent into evil.
In the present, Hake meets the Raian we have all gotten to known during the events of Second Act, to find that the timelines are radically different, with this Raian being a stern, but kind-hearted man. Explaining the situation to him, Raian, Seireitou, Mashū, Jackie, and the Future Hake return to the future to put an end to the Future Raian's reign of terror, and Raian learns what could have been...

Development & Production
The special was announced on April 13, 2013, during the closing chapters of Second Act, as a way to bring finality to Second Act's story arcs. According to the author, Ten Tailed Fox, it will be canon his series.[1] It is meant to be a "movie"-like production for the Bleach Fan Fiction Wiki.
On April 15, 2013, Ten Tailed Fox announced that Shukai, a third stage of Zanpakutō release, which first debuted in the Final War of Revenge Arc (the arc directly proceeding this special), would be an important plot device, and would have a great many things revealed about it during the course of the special.[2] When speaking of the special's main villain, a future incarnation of Raian, his main character, he stated that, for most people, "the greatest enemy you have, is yourself". He stated that he wanted to portray this in this special by "showing a greater villain that Tadoku or Aizen"; Raian himself.[1]
On April 16, 2013, Ten Tailed Fox unveiled a new character, Tonma Yanisagaru, whom he claims will have some important role in the story. Apparently, Tonma will take a much larger role in Blutmond, and thus, must make a debut in the special, though it is unclear what role he will take at the current moment.[3]

- The special's cover shows Raian in his new Shukai form, without the mask it provides — presumably the "Future" Raian.
- The name "Reverse of the Moon" is a play on Raian's surname (which means "moon cutter"), referring to the Future Raian as the "reverse" of the present Raian.
