Douin Kurushimi (lit. Agent Pain or Agent of Pain) is the 3rd seat of the 6th Division.
Douin wears a standard Shingami uniform, with slight customization. He wears a pair of glasses and has black gloves. He has brown hair and lightish grey eyes. He is about 6 feet tall.
Douin is similar in personality to Byakuya Kuchiki. He however doesn't look down on others and thinks highly of many seated officers. He enjoys peace and tranquility, unlike his name. He however is cold and cruel to his enemies, not even hesitating to killing a Rogue Shingami or a Traitor of the Soul Society.
Douin grew up into a lower noble family. All of his family members served in the 6rd Division, excluding his mother who was a member of the 4th Division. Douin was a prodigy in his family, achieving Shikai at an extremly young age. This is what attracted General Commander Yamamoto and is what let him join the Shingami academy. He quickly graudated and served in the 6th Division as it's 3rd Seat for many years. His current whereabouts are unknown.
His Zanpakuto's name is Tenrai Kobushi (lit. Divine Fist). It is a Melee type Zanpakuto. When sealed it takes the shape of an odachi with a bronze colored handle. There is no guard and the blade is made of bronze. The release phrase is Dageki Umou (Strike Down!).
Shikai- In Shikai, Tenrai Kobushi becomes a small bronze sword. It is about 3 inches with the blade being the largest percentage of it.
Shikai Abilities- In Shikai, Tenrai Kobushi can fire bronze colored energy blasts. The blade itself, is able to also create barriers and portable shields, serving offense and defense.
Zanpakuto Spirit- The spirit of Tenrai Kobushi is Senju, the God of 1000 Hands. He is usually shown as an Angry Giant Bronze man capable of striking down a soul with a simple punch.
- "Hollows are the scum, and it's up to us Shingami and even you Ryoka to stop them and purify our great world"
- "Dageki Umou!, Tenrai Kobushi"
- "An Arrancar's power can only be judged by his Ressurection, Shingami's power can be judged by their Shikai" (then goes on to say release phrase).
