The two sources of energy began to flow out like a river of water, surrounding John in a torrent as his entire vision became blurred, as if he were underwater. Moments after, however, the experienced vanished altogether, as John once more stood before Seireitou. The blade that was piercing his chest for the second time had disappeared, just like before.
"So it seems we're half-way through, John-chan." the silver-haired mentor had mused.
"Can we take a break?" John coughed up more blood, nearly spitting on his master who had sidestepped the red shower. "Never mind...Let's keep going."

Blade Three: Haru Hyōki[]
John readied himself to be stabbed again. This would get unoriginal really fast if the scenarios were not different. OK, let's see here...Akireiki and I rebuilt the bond we once had by realizing the pain of being separated. Fuyu No Arashi showed me how I lacked trust in my Zanpakutō. What will Haru Hyōki bring to the table?
Seireitou's eyes narrowed slightly. "Even after all this..." He nodded with a smile. "Very well." He picked up yet another of the swords, and threw it at the man's chest, stabbing John straight through.
A moment passed, and John stared down at the blade. He tentatively touched it, and wiggled it, but he showed no signs of pain on his face. He pushed the blade in further, but no blood came from his body. "Um, you're supposed to feel pain when you get stabbed by a sword, right?"
