Kotetsuga Tsuki (月こうてつが, Tsuki Kōtetsuga) is a Shinigami and the son of Maryu Tsuki and Mizugiri Tsuki. Despite his young age, he is quite tall and muscular, and this in conjugation with rigidly upward-standing hair creates his wild and aggressive appearance, which also fits his personality. Kotetsuga is an unseated shinigami in the 11th Division of the Gotei 13, serving under Kenpachi Haduryo.
Kotetsuga's personality is aggressive. He has stated to live for battle alone and according to Maryu, he is one of those people who can only feel truely alive during the heat of a battle. He enjoys of both delivering and recieving wounds, often reacting with joy when his body gets damaged.
Powers and abilities
Immense Spiritual Power: It was clear since Kotetsuga was a little child that he has a massive spiritual power, possibly inherited from his father. His massive and uncontrollable reiatsu made him scary in the eyes of the other children, resulting him being mostly alone and being partially responsible for his personality. When he became a shinigami, the greatness of his reiatsu became even more evident, as he was able to cast fear to his fellow students by just walking by. Due to the massive amount of his power, he lacks the control over it and, for example, can't cast Kidō as a result. Interestinly, when thrown in a battle, his reiatsu becomes even greater. kotetsuga has stated it is because his power needs to be "woken up" in battle before it reaches its full capacity.
Expert Swordsmaship Specialist: Even though Kotetsuga is only an unseated member of the 11th Division, he still has quite impressive swordsmanship skills because he has been trained by his father, who is considered being a master at his particular skill.
Speed: Even though Kotetsuga lacks skill in Flash Steps, he can achieve quite high speeds with his leg power alone.
Great Strength: The large size of his constant-release-type Zanpakutō has forced Kotetsuga to develop an impressive strangth, making him capable of handling his Zanpakutō with only one hand despite its size. He is also shown to be able to smash walls and such with his strength.
