Sorry you had to deal with that jerk. I almost have half a mind to tell him how inconsiderate and conceited he was to tell you off about how pitiful him was hurt by you (by mistake that anyone could've made). Can't believe he had the nerve to bring that BS "US Law" crap into defending himself with when you already fixed the problem >.>
What I'm trying to say is please don't let this get you down. Moreover as a friend I support you, whether or not this even affects you. Just wanted to let you know I'm here to help out whenever you need me :3
Mr. Mangetsu why the name calling? I never even ventured into that territory. Also if you read the conversation, itsseireitou and ten tailed fox insisting that they know US law and Wiki LAw, and how it was ok to use the picture. I simply quoted the actual lawas to calrify it with them. And how exactly did I tell them off. My comments were not in any harsh tone, no insluts were traded and so on. I don't know if you yourself is trying to cause trouble. I was alerted to the picture in the first place by 1) friends I have on this site as well 2) as well as the original artiost himself who also knows people on this site who are familiar with his work. Everyone has the simple respect to not use someone's elses work or at least ask them beforehand ( forget for an instance there were no laws). But since the two users on this site i mentioned insisted on saying they knew "the law", I just checked it out myself, and quoted it to clarify. Peace.
Dude I thought we settled this a while back, and you agreed to remove the pic which of my OC http://thebleachfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Nicole_Duvalier and also doesn't belong to you (cropped or not). Please remove it. I'm asking you nicely and calmy on your wall (unlike the last time where I posted everywhere), unless you want me to take it to the higher ups on the site. Thanks
Probably I must've reverted the deletion when I did some reverting on other pictures I was re-using, so it was a honest mistake, relax. I'll re-delete it so hold your horses.
In case you didn't know, I am one of the higher-ups of this site. And honestly, considering you don't even go to this site (which makes me wonder if you're just stalking my characters or something), I don't see why you're raising such a stinker. I shouldn't even have had to remove it the first time, but I did solely because I didn't feel like convincing you out of the foolishness logic you were using. Considering the only time you even make characters is when you get new images, and you barely use them for anything, I think you spend all that money for mere wastes, when all I wanted to use was a cropped version, not even the whole version, for a character that would have actually been used in an actual story. I'd be more than willing to put you down as the original owner of the picture (considering Wiki's law states I don't even need to remove the image, but merely give you credit for it), but I guess "Oh no, it's a huge giant crime if someone else uses the image for a better purpose just because I wasted a few bucks and am obsessed with ownership." Well, whatever. Not gonna waste my time changing your mind.
LOl I'm not stalking you man, I don't have the time. There are other members on this site that are friends of mine as well as with the artist, so they know his art as well as my OC's. That is how I know, because other people alerted me to it, I then came myself and saw it personally, and then messaged you, thats how it woked. The picture was paid and done for my own OC, so its illogical to have its reference used to represent something entirely different. And also, how would you know what i do with my OC's or intend to do with them??. Bottom line the images belong to me and the artist, and are to be used by such whenever we see fit. I work, have a great job which I can support my family easily with no stresses. Paying to create images of characters through my imagination is something that I want to do and can afford, so it is not wasting money from my end, it is a well earned investment. Lastly, I am also part of other RP groups where i use my OC's, the two main Bleach fanon aren't the only Bleach RP groups out there, the fanon is just the first place I joined, and I consider it a "home" for my OC's. Thanks for remoing the pic. Good day.
I'm simply telling you how Wiki Law works. The fact that I did delete them was at my own mercy; because I'm not a total jackass. I didn't have to delete the image. In fact, I could go to all of your characters, take all of your images, and so long as I write on the article that they belong to Rtenzo, since he drew them, neither you nor Rtenzo can make me remove them, or make anybody else remove them either. You don't believe me, I can easily cite you Wiki rules. So just remember that.
This is Rees69 btw. I was banned for trying to protect my rights, for doing the correct thing? I'm not stirring up anything. I asked politely for my picture to be removed and it was. It was you who is being "wrong and strong". And since you think you can quote Wiki Law and say we can't prevent you from using the picture, peep this :
See the line that is bolded and in italics, that is the law you broke and the one which I was trying to rectify. Peace

You weren't protecting your rights. I know US law, and I know Wikia policy. Btw, please visit Bleach Fan Fiction Wiki:Image Policy for more information. Enough is enough. You were given what you wanted, and you're still causing trouble. That's grounds for banning under the Bleach Fan Fiction Wiki:Disruption Policy. Bye
Look I am not causing trouble. I have been polite and professional (no ill language, cursing, insults etc) I am merely trying to voice my greivances with my pictures being used. I would expect more from the owner/head of the site to be more open minded. But anywayz since you are so hellbent on sticking with the bs that you know Wiki Law, US law and such let me educate you.
http://about.deviantart.com/policy/copyright/ This is devianart's policy on copyright. Basically it states that any art done by a user unless bought or given permission to use, is copyrighted.
Copyright law protects the expression of an idea, but copyright does not protect the idea itself. This limitation is called the idea/expression dichotomy. What this says is that anything made is copyrighted. But the idead (the mechanism, the workings etc is not) Which in regards to a site like this means that you can't juse an original image, but you can create another image in its likeness or similar.
The author of a work is the initial owner of the copyright in it, and may exploit the work himself or transfer some or all the rights conferred by the copyright to others.[25] The author generally is the person who conceives of the copyrightable expression and fixes it or causes it to be fixed in a tangible form. Exceptions and special cases in determining the author are:
Works for hire. If a work is made "for hire" within the meaning of the Copyright Act, the employer or commissioning party, who paid for the work and took the economic risk of it, is deemed the author for copyright purposes and is the initial owner of the copyright.[26] Any other work done by that writer on his own without compensation and without using company resources usually is owned by the writer (though employers often try to claim ownership of such work). The circumstances under which a work may be found to be a work for hire are:
Work prepared by an employee within the scope of his employment. In Community for Creative Non-Violence v. Reid, 490 U.S. 730 (1989), the Supreme Court held that the term "employee" in this context should be interpreted according to common law agency principles. If the person doing the work is an "employee" within the meaning of the common law, and the work was done within the scope of his employment (whether the work is the kind he was employed to prepare; whether the preparation takes place primarily within the employer's time and place specifications; and whether the work was activated, at least in part, by a purpose to serve the employer), then the work is a work for hire and the employer is the initial owner of the copyright, rather than the employee who actually conceived and fixed the expression.[26]
Specially ordered or commissioned works. Works created by independent contractors (rather than employees) can be deemed works for hire only if two conditions are satisfied. First, the work must fit into one of these categories: a contribution to a collective work, part of a motion picture or other audiovisual work, a translation, a supplementary work, a compilation, an instructional text, a test, answer material for a test, or an atlas. Second, the parties must expressly agree in a written, signed instrument that the work will be considered a work made for hire.[26]
Ownership of copyright in a joint work. The authors of a joint work are co-owners of a single copyright in the work. A joint work is "a work prepared by two or more authors with the intention that their contributions be merged into inseparable or independent parts of a unitary whole."[26][27]
Ownership of copyright in a collective work: A collective work is a collection of independent, separately copyrightable works of authorship, such as a newspaper, magazine, or encyclopedia.[26] In the absence of an express assignment of copyright, the author of each individual work in the collection retains copyright in that work.[25] The compiler, or author of the collection, owns copyright in the expression he or she contributed, which is primarily the selection and arrangement of the separate contributions, but may include such things as a preface, advertisements, etc., that the collective author created.[26]
All that means is that whoever creates the work owns it and is free to use it as he/she sees fit. Same applies to a joint copyright (for instance a commission on deviantart). Also only if the owner sells or grants permission then it is legal to use, otherwise it is an infringement of the law.
And again I quote the bottom from wiki law as previous which reiterates the same thing.
So in all sure people are free to use images from deviantart and alter them as they see fit, ONLY if bought or granted permission from its owners. My images were neither, therefore were in breach of all theses laws.
The difference in me is that instead of saying i know this and that, I have backed it up with concrete evidence, not my own making, but rules that were established before.

There is no copyright on your material unless you have gone through the proper legal channels, which neither you, nor the person you had draw it, have received. Since it was first posted on a public site (DeviantArt), and then on this site, by you yourself, it got placed in the Public Domain, meaning that under United States Copyright Laws, United States Internet Laws, and Wikia CC-by-SA policy, you have no legitimate claim to the image. If you wanted it solely to yourself, you should've received it via PMs and not released it on the internet without proper, legal, copyrights. Good day to you.
Do you know how to follow pages? Like article pages, is what I mean. I'm trying to figure it out, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)
Hey there Seireitou, I'm the guy RWOL who just signed up today. I wanted you know that I've become a big fan yours. The works you have done, along with Ten-Tails are just phenomial. You two should have be writers on the actual Bleach at least that way, Ichigo will be the hero he's supposed be and Bleach wouldn't be in its final arc.
Anyway, I've read several of your articles and I humbly ask permission from the master to use soem your material in my fanfictions. I'm on fanfiction.net http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1377052/redwarrioroflight and I want to hear what you think about my Bleach stories. Im working on two new ones: Bleach Shihoin Love; a YoruichixIchigo story and Bleach Kido Corps Commander; a Kido-master Ichigo story.
I ask that if you're not too busy, to look over my stories and give me your feed back. Also I have project I want to do and I ask that you be a partner on it. If you're interested, you can email me at smr_601@yahoo.com, my personal email.
The pic you used is one that was taken without permission. It was drawn by Rtenzo for me reesharr on deviantart, and belongs to both of us. Please remove as you did not get any permission to use it.
Would you mind it if I could use it? It's a cropped version of the original image, and I'm willing to put both your usernames on the behind the scenes section on the character's article.
Well it is, kinda saved my money for the pic, thought up the design, waited for it to be drawn. I mean yeah there maybe other sites out there that use it, but this was brought to my attention by people that use both this and the fanon wiki I use, as well as the artist himself who i paid, so I had to comment. Thanks for removing it.
Contrary to what Kaitlyn was saying, I'm not cold-hearted. But still, that did not warrant your crazy messaging. I mean, you left a message on the talk page, on my message wall, and on Ten's message wall. Seriously man, I know you were angry and all, but chill, I would've answered you, you didn't need to go on the attack to three different places.
Wasn't meant to be or look like crazy messaging. I just wanted answers, i got it, problem solved amicably as best as it can. Lets move on. Thanks again
