The Heisei no Tama (平静の玉, Jewel of Tranquility), otherwise known as the Serenity Jewel, was one of four relics owned by the Yume Clan. While it was generally considered by outsiders to be a simple family heirloom passed down through the generations, the Serenity Jewel secretly possessed the ability to distort the very fabric of reality and seal anyone into a secluded pocket dimension.

Yuu Hoshiko revealed the Serenity Jewel to be one of Kami-sama's sources of power brought into the physical realm, much like the Well of Awakenings.
A short while following The Collapse, Kei Yume was mysteriously sealed within the jewel, leaving it unprotected and susceptible to the machinations who knew its true value as a potential weapon. Aware of it being undefended, The Outsider sent his daughter, Shiawase Kōhai, to excavate the jewel from the ruins of the Third Division Barracks. Kenji Hiroshi somehow became aware of The Outsider's goal and subsequently intervened to protect his friend, thus returning from a self-imposed exile. He seized the Serenity Jewel before The Outsider did and escaped into hiding with it, which he then wore around his neck.
