Soul Society West Branch

The Soul Society West Branch (尸魂界・西梢局 (ソウル・ソサエティ ウエスト・ブランチ), Souru Sosaeti Uesuto Buranchi; Japanese for "Dead Spirit World Western Branch Bureau"), usually referred to as simply the "West Branch", is the western counterpart to the Soul Society East Branch that exists within Reverse London. The focus of the West Branch is the management and protection of Dragons (the western counterpart to Hollows), which is overseen by Wing Bind. The only ones licensed to manage dragons are known as Witches and Wizards.

While the Dragon Contact Prohibition was written into law in 1609, it is unknown when the West Branch was founded. Furthermore, the nature, relationship between, and interactions of the East and West Branch remain unclear.
