The Creator (クリエーター, "kuriētā" in Japanese) is the creator of, as well as the original, dōbutsu. the majority of his background is unknown, due to the secrecy the twelfth division of the Gotei 13 has always held. However, it is known that he studied kikai while in the division and would eventually embed one of these stones within himself, causing him to undergo a transformation in which he became a dōbutsu, thereby losing his zanpakutō. After his transformation, the Creator defected from Soul Society, where he would continue his research of kikai as well as creating more dōbutsu.
Appearance[]
The Creator's appearance is quite unoriginal for a scientist, wearing the standard lab coat and big, round bifocals. His shirt possesses several stitch-like markings on his shirt, pants and the entirety of his body. It is unknown if these are really stitched pieces, or just for show, as the Creator refuses to speak of them. The most notable part of the Creator's appearance is that he has a rather large screw through his head, with the head of the screw being on this left side. Besides these few pieces, his appearance is quite... average.
Personality[]
Having succumbed to his kyōsei, the Creator does not have any personality, unable to show any type of emotion. Because of this, he's a monotone and does not show a change in the level of his tone. Besides this, there is nothing note-worthy of the Creator's "personality."

Immense Spiritual Energy: Being a dōbutsu, the Creator boasts a hefty amount of spiritual energy, considered to be on par with the captain-commander himself. His spiritual energy is green in appearance.
Unrivaled Genius Intellect: Being the creator of the dōbutsu, the Creator is considered to be a genius among the likes of Kisuke Urahara and Sōsuke Aizen, two shinigami known far and wide for their intellect. Because he is frequently hiding within the shadows, it is unknown how far his intelligence extends from science.
